Useful Information:

  • With a large water capacity of 70 ounces, it's the perfect fountain for small to medium sized pets.
  • Moving water entices your pet to drink more, encouraging hydration, and the constant circulation inhibits bacteria growth at the bottom of the bowl.
  • Includes a replaceable carbon, coconut shell filter that removes bad tastes and odors, keeping water fresh.
  • Upper and lower dish provides two drinking areas for pets, while the elevated dish is great for senior or arthritic pets.
  • Ceramic design is more hygienic and fits seamlessly with any décor.

Capacity is calculated by total volume. When using container, choose a capacity greater than what you need to prevent overfilling and spills.

How to Use:

For best performance, the fountain pump needs to be cleaned every two weeks. When cleaning the pump, we recommend cleaning the fountain and changing the filter as well. Replace the foam filter every 1 - 2 months. Multi-pet households may need to be cleaned more frequently. The ceramic bowl and tower are top-shelf dishwasher safe. Hand wash all other fountain parts.

Pump Cleaning Instructions

Use your nail or a tool with a small edge to remove the face plate on the end opposite the cord. Please note: the Outdoor Dog Fountain pump face plate slides out.

Pull up on the small lip to remove the teardrop-shaped stator.

Remove the impeller by pulling up from underneath it with your finger.

Clean all parts of the pump using soap and warm water with a small brush, such as a toothbrush. Completely rinse the pump, then reassemble.

If hard water is an issue where you live, you may see white mineral deposits inside the housing and inside the pump. These mineral deposits may eventually prevent the impeller from turning properly. To avoid having to replace the pump:

  • Clean the pump more frequently
  • Clean with regular white vinegar and let the vinegar soak for several minutes down inside the pump’s cavity
  • Use bottled water
