Storage & Safe Handling:
- Keep raw broth separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces, utensils, hands, and any other items that come in contact with raw product with hot, soapy water.
- Keep frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or at room temperature in protective bowl or on a plate. Portion and refreeze if needed. Good for 14 days refrigerated.
It stinks, it's a pain to defrost, BUT it's really helped me turn my Westie's health around. She has terrible yeast overgrowth and this paired with other elements of the Answers line has helped slowly but surely to get the yeast back in check. Even my picky eater Husky will eat anything as long as it's bathed in this stinky stock.
Note: Once defrosted, I find it useful to transfer the stock into a mason jar. This keeps the smell down in the fridge and I feel like it seems more hygienic.
